1. We first clean the decking using an environmenantally safe cleaner and pressure washing. This process removes all green, and surface mold. This process does not remove the old finish, or stains like grille grease and citronella candle wax without the use of an additional chemical or sanding. The Deck Guy uses machinery specific to your species of wood so that we do not damage the wood during this process.

2. Once dry, we return to weatherproof the deck. First we prepare areas near and under the deck with drop cloths to ensure a neat job. We then take the extra time to hand apply all weatherproofing to the deck by brush and pad. This ensures no material on your home, and the extra care of a heavier coating. We do not spray your deck with a spray that can waste materials, and make a big mess.

If your deck is too far gone to consider restoration, we offer to re-deck or rebuild the structure using our team of experienced professinals. Re-decking is typically a process where old decking is removed, and replaced with new wood or composite material of choice.
